Mets Autism Awareness Day with the New York Mets
Sunday, April 9, 2006 at 1:10 p.m.
Shea Stadium
Take yourself (and your school, civic group, family and friends) out to
the
ballgame with Autism Speaks as we root for the New York Mets to hit one
out
of the ballpark! Special discounted ticket prices to this spirited
annual
event during National Autism Awareness Month will benefit autism
research.
Ticket purchasers will receive a complimentary Flashing Mets Logo Pin as
a
game souvenir. Available group tickets include seats in the Mezzanine
Box
($38); Picnic Area ($25 including complimentary lunch); and Upper Level
Reserved ($2). Note: Picnic Area seats offer the BEST kid-friendly
value --
free sandwiches, a nearby playground, move-around convenience -- AND the
biggest rebate for our group. Wear orange to show your support!

At Autism Speaks, our goal is to change the future for all who struggle
with
autism spectrum disorders.
We are dedicated to funding global biomedical research into the causes,
prevention, treatments, and cure for autism; to raising public awareness
about autism and its effects on individuals, families, and society; and
to
bringing hope to all who deal with the hardships of this disorder. We
are
committed to raising the funds necessary to support these goals.
Autism Speaks aims to bring the autism community together as one strong
voice to urge the government and private sector to listen to our
concerns
and take action to address this urgent global health crisis. It is our
firm
belief that, working together, we will find the missing pieces of the
puzzle.
Autism Speaks. It's time to listen.
