Hi, I'm an aspie currently enrolled at the University of Chicago.  I'm trying to organize a group for aspie students, with the hopes of organizing a protest at CAN's WALK NOW fundraiser in may.  Anybody here in the chicago area who might want to come?
Would you be interested in starting an AFF group?
We are hoping to start one shortly in New York.

I think we are talking about the NAAR walk

see above the dates I tried to get a hold of antieuclid to no avail. Has anyone talked to her lately?
I've talked to antieuclid recently ^_^ I don't check these boards all that often, so it's best to email me at antieuclid@gmail.com if you need to get in touch with me.

The event we're planning to protest is CAN's WALK NOW.  The Chicago event is in May, the 22nd I think.  So far, here's the state of prtest planning:

We have about 10 people who have said they'd come.  I'm currently investigating what sort of permits we might need.  I'm being slightly hampered by the fact that CAN doesn't seem to know where they're going to hold the walk.  Hard to apply for a protest permit when you don't know where you're going to protest.  Plus I have to call the Chicago Park District on the phone, which is leading to some procrastination ^_^
I'm a Chicagoan, and would be interested in coming, but I don't know right now wether or not that day is free.
