I thought about something... My boyfriend (who has AS) can repeat the same "mistake" (do something I do not think it's okey for a bf to do) but not realizing that I will get hurt because it's not the same situation as it was before, just similar. He just can't see that... For exampel: he's done drugs without telling me which I told him was not okey. He agreed but did it three times again (that I know) without telling me (I found out by questioning him). When I explained that I got hurt he understood and felt sorry.
What I meen is, maybe Lowe didn't get that it was so "wrong" this time even if he knew it was the time before.
Just a thought.
He shouldn't get to be in a mental home, too good for the ***, stick him in an adult prison, on the main wings, only good paedophile is a dead paedophile.
But if he has mental issues, hanging out with other paedophiles might make it worse.
Paedophiles have one of the highest rates of recidivism of ANY offenders, they will always be paedophiles, no cure sadly, I'm just inclined to view the kids and parents rights over those of sex offenders.
The only thing a con or ex-con hates more than the pigs, is a sex offender, killing is too good really IMO, they should be tortured for the rest of their natural lifespan.

have you heard of the phrase "two wrongs do not make a right?" well that term usually applies to all instances.
however that said this man should have punishment BUT should not be incarcerated next to cons and murderers if that happens besides causing a lot of violence in the prison it will probably drive this man insane what he needs is psychological help to find the cause of his problem and why he commited this horrific act and to ensure he does not do it again.
I have stated this already but It seems I have to do it again Locking him up with a bunch of violent people will not do any good every one knows that once aspies go off the handle they can be violent and hostile if someone attempts to attack them or kill them the person with aspergers will just go off the handle and well do what the man was attempting to do to him.
As I have stated before what this man did was horrific BUT there could be several reasons towards this whatever the reason is putting him in a mental home was the best option they could have taken.
Very good points there. I also would say that putting this young man in with hardened offenders is not going to be any good. Better to have him in a mental hospital and find out why he did what he did and teach him how to act more appropriately in the future.

I'm not "patronising" you I was just putting this across from a psychological view that as quickduck said putting this guy behind bars with complete scum will only make things worse and bring a need for vengance.
also as anubend said the person that her was autistic and he was institutionalized and now wouldn't do something like that again. this goes to show that maybe like this lowe didn't realise what he was doing and even though it is wrong he needs psychiatric help.
the death penalty will NOT help If you want to have people put to death unnecassarily then fine but you are only being as bad as the person who commited the crime by killing them.
that being said it could just be in lowe's nature to be a paedophile but they will not know If he is not mentally asessed when If he is just a sicko then he should be locked away But if he does have mental issues then than can solve them and he can be released if he is stable.
