Does this four-letter word offend you?  

It offends me.

I don't want or need a cure.  In any event, autism is incurable.  It is not a disease, it is a neurological difference.

What I do want, is tolerance and understanding.  I want to be free from discrimination and bullying, whether in school, in the workplace, or in wider society.

It could work as a shock tactic.
Though some people would be so offended the message would be distorted.

I think in europe and australia it would work better than in the USA/Canada.

Yeah, Amy, you're probably right.  In the US they are much more sensitive.  There's a real cultural anomaly, in that they allow so much sex and violence in movies, but then they are strangely puritan in relation to random issues such as bad language.   :?  :roll:

Yes. I am working on a site that sends a message, but so far people I have shown feel its too controversial. I could try and make a poster style page with that idea of yours. Then show it to some more people and see what they think. Obviously I can't post it here yet as I need to check that it falls under parody guidelines.

The c-word isn't used much in the USA and Canada.

But unfortunately, "cure" seems to be used more.
