I'm glad you agree with me but I'm against abortion and all that bologna and women who are pregnant with Autistic fetus's should totally ignore the NAAR thing because its rude the way NAAR treats the Autistic community
and also whoever is reading this and is a participant of NAAR.org you guys can just kiss our ***** because we wanna stay the way we are and autism is who we are and no amount of anything could change that so either accept us for who we are or eat **** GOT IT?
just so you people at
http://www.aspiesforfreedom.org and not from
http://www.NAAR.org please take note of this: if your parents treat you like a normal person and keep telling you to be normal and trying to change you and the way you are don't listen to them because Autistic is who you are and what your born with you don't develop autism throughout life it's something your born with hereditary has nothing to do with it and if anyone who isn't autistic says otherwise then don't listen to them and by the way give me responses people
that was oddly helpful enough but think about it here is an example: you have a wife and she's pregnant and it gets screened and the unborn fetus is autistic would you propose she gets an abortion or not? and also for parents with unborn, screened, and autistic fetus' I give you all the same EXAMPLE so think about it would you risk abortion just because your unborn fetus is screened as autistic? please think about it and reply me with your answer PLEASE
thanks for that but I too am against pre-natal testing because is it our faults that were born autistic? NO! because Albert Einstein too was thought to be autistic so autistics are genuis' in some fields and autism is not a disease it's well there's no word for it hereditary doesn't seem right but parents who have children who seem autistic should get their children tested and anyone who is autistic and is against a cure for autism and is apart of the autist community should just accept your children for who they are because someday your child could be the next Albert Einstein so I ask you would you cure your child of autism when you know that your child needs you more than your NT child? and by the way WHAT DOES NT STAND FOR?
and I think that since all this "NAAR.org" business is going on and all those other "Cure Autism" thingamajigs everybody in the autism community should pull together and say NO to curing autism because I think it's bad the way NAAR.org and all that other bologna is treating us so when the going gets tough the tough gets going because I'm hoping that after all that is said there should be more protests and anybody who is autistic should all join a protest and pull together and not give up because autism is not bad it's more a difference
thank you for all agreeing with me but I personally think that if any normal person wants to change us then well they shouldn't because their not autistic we are so we need to have a say in what happens to us because if anymore protests should occur any participant in this topic should protest together and we must stick up for our autistic brothers and sisters because our parents just seem to make us worse by expecting more things from us we're capable and able to do certain things but when people pressure us to do more then their taking advantage of us and trying to make us normal we deserve alot more respect than that instead of trying to make us do more than what we can do why don't people just accept us for who we are and not what we can do? because now more than ever we need to stick up for anybody in the autistic community because sooner or later us autistics sticking up for each other will do us well and I would join any future protests other autistics will be offering and when people criticize us their making us worse and we should be allowed to do what we want when we want and how we want with no stress or pressure what so ever so I ask you are you with me or are you a participant of NAAR.org? because if you aren't with me then just eat **** because us autistics have no use for NAAR.org participants so any parent who has an autistic child or any autistic children or any autistic adult I ask you this are you gonna get cured or just stay the way you are? I'm gonna stay the way I am and if anyone can't deal with it then well screw them
ok but true that is unrealistic I think parents should think more like you Kev but is your daughter an Asperger's Syndrome or Autism Spectrum? there's a difference between those two forms of autism but I personally say that anybody who reads this and has an autistic child or that kind of thing should go with me on this and I hope you Kev being the father of an autistic daughter should know about how we feel because I say that any an autistic person is just as human as an NT person but autistics are more different from NT's than anybody who is not autistic will ever know I hope that parents who read this will take note of this and side with me because we think logically and are able to do things that normal people don't do and I hope this point I'm trying to make is clear because it's time that another protest and meeting be held because Kev would you want Megan to be cured of something she has no control over? I can only do as much as I can but I'm good in certain fields not normal fields because the word normal does not appeal to me as far as I'm concerned the word normal doesn't even exist it's just a word to get Autistic children to change although I don't like changing or anything like that but did you know that when Albert Einstein died collages took samples of his brain and detected red spots on his brain? I think it was something he was born with and in conclusion our brains look severely less normal then NT brains so if you born a certain but different unique way then you can't control it whether your autistic or NOT the way you were born is the way you feel comfortable with and when people try to change you then that means they wants you to change to suit their needs NOT your needs NT's don't care about what we think but other autistics should all side together because they think we are weird but I think differently but I ask you this Kev is your daughter as Asperger's Syndrome or Autism Spectrum? is your daughter high functioning or low functioning? that question is not only directed toward Kev it's directed to any parent with autistic children who reads this because I know what I am talking about seeing as how I am myself an autistic but I don't know if I'm an Asperger's Syndrome or Autism Spectrum but I'm some form of autism as much as I like to agree with what Kev says about people doing what they want being unrealistic I'd like to say that we should do what we're able to do not what we can't do because Kev how do you motivate Megan?
while you do agree with me I say that Autistic comes in all different forms some low functioning forms some high functioning forms some in between forms but I'm glad that you see my philosophy on the brain thing because those red spots on Albert Einstein's brain are visible and they are physical so the physical red spots could be something he was born with and kids who are autistic appear to have brains that don't look like NT brains but Kev as being a parent of an autistic child what obstacles are coming your way? and what characteristics does Megan show that are low functioning? and I'm glad your agreeing with the things I have said but by any means necessary autistics should share their viewpoint by the way how old is Megan anyway? it isn't hereditary or anything related it's the shape of the autistics brain because sometimes the size of the brain and the shape and color and length may be involved in the forms of autism as an autistic I view the world differently and NT people view the world another way but it's good your being an advocate for your daughter and another question comes to mind what's it like being one of those many parents who have an autistic daughter? is her autism verbal or non-verbal? how does she learn? what ways does she learn? do people find her weird? because people find me weird and I don't have many friends does Megan have many friends? what other things can you tell me about her characteristics? because I think that site is useful to the parents of autistic children and autism varies by any means but from personal experience I think that if people could view the world through the eyes of an autistic child then NT's could understand us and understand the problems and thoughts that go through our heads and as being an autistic girl I view the world very differently autism is very interesting Albert Einstein was thought to be autistic and being thought that him creating the Theory of Relativity was genius because no NT person could've come up with that but autistic children learn differently from NT people but Kev being an advocate of your daughter Megan what kind of obstacles do you encounter? do you face things that the parent of an NT child would face?
why isn't anyone answering my post?
well then that was interesting. what kinds of things is she interested in? what does she do in her spare time? as being a parent of an NT and an ASD is life complicated for you and your wife? I being an autistic life is complicated and it isn't easy for me so I completely know what obstacles come your way. so ASD runs in your family? well it doesn't run in mine so I don't think it was hereditary. although in some cases it would be hereditary. lots of causes could be the cause of a fetus being born autistic. although from learning alot about autism I've come up with the theory that it's the shape and size of your brain that affects an autistic. alot of people think there is a specific word for autism. but I say there really isn't a word for autism. hereditary isn't the word and weird isn't the word and enviroment isn't the word. so my philosophy is that there is no word for it. it's just a mental thing but not a mental illness. in order to be autistic you've gotta be born autistic. you don't develop it through life. so I'm concluding that whatever way you and your brain were born then that's the way you are and who you are. you can't control the way you were born. eventhough autism may come in many forms and that include's Asperger's Syndrome that's why I say there is no word for autism. if one word could describe autism there wouldn't be a word. when did you and your wife first discover your daughter was autistic? can you tell me anything else about her behaviors and her etc. as an autistic? what traits and qualities does she possess in order for you to say that she's autistic? I had gotten diagnosed for autism but I don't know which form of autism I am. as for Albert Einstein being thought by others that he was autistic he invented the "Theory of Relativity" and no NT person could've come up with that. he was quite a genius. is your daughter intelligent or not? but those red spots on Albert Einstein's brain were something he was born with and his brain is a different shape and size than an NT person. so I'm concluding that other theories just don't match my theory. it's all in the shape of your brain and size of your brain and how it functions. I've heard of many people who are autistic and I know people who are autistic and have autistic children. I've never really understood it. but now I'm starting to understand how autistics function in the real world.
well actually some people believe that although everybody has different theories about it and I'm 16 1/2
I'm alot like your daughter too but whenever I get hooked on something new boy do I get hooked and my obsessions usually last a long time but it seems like your daughter is very intelligent but in what are her good and bad habits? as being an autistic myself my habits are alot of things and any parent that is reading this message besides Kev all the questions I asked in my past posts should answer these questions because we all might be able to learn alot from each other
Here's are questions that I ask any parent who reads this message and have an autistic child or an asperger's syndrome child or any form of it: when did you first discover your child was an aspie or autistic or another form of it? what qualities does your child possess to get you to conclude that your child is autistic or an aspie? what does your child like doing in their spare time? when does your child show these qualities? what's it like being a parent of a child who is NOT Neuro Typical? once you read these questions answer them
I don't know but I do know that if parents who need help they could ask me for help on this thread
