Are there any for Odessa, TX?
'Meetup' has a listing for my city but they don't actually meet.  I'd like to get together with someone (or more) in my area who are Aspies.  This is the Kansas City area.  Thanks, if anyone runs across this!

Please come and say hello to Asperger Ireland.
Just wanted to let you know that my area's (Kansas City) Meetup group just had its 2nd mtg. today (I missed the first one).  I was there along with about 20 other people, ranging from parents, to both a 19 & 20-year-old Aspie (and middle-aged me LOL!).  I'm glad I went. Everyone was nice, concerned & very willing to share their difficulties & solutions they'd found to problems.  And had senses of humor.  I was really pleased & plan to go to the next meeting.
Washington DC?

Hi Mark,

Glad to see someone else here who's in my area.  The group hasn't had a meeting since summer; I think the leader has a very busy life & no one else (sigh, including me) has stepped-in to help organize further meetings.  I'm not quite up to doing that at present.  Are you?  If so, if you'd like, I'd be glad to send an introduction to the group's organizer . . . .

Hi, Trish,

The middle of last month would have been good, but I am going back to work next week (after a month off), and things will start to get very busy for me again. I had hoped that there was already a meeting I could step into.
