I am going to see what I can do about a possible APD event at the Nation Space Centre in Licester, Midlands, UK. Or possibly another venue in the midlands, would anyone interested in such an event please let me know by posting to this thread, also going to see if I can convince them to give us a room or something there to meet up in, will call them tomorrow and see if they can be convinced to donate the space for the day.
I have just been in touch with them and they say they have some big events on that day and therefore don't have any rooms or anything available there for us, although going would still be an option just without the room, I will keep it in mind but would like to find a place with a room if that would be atall possible.
If anyone who would be interested in the midlands event has any suggestions on possible venues please would they let me know so I can look into our options before we make a decision on the venue for this particular event.
I don't know of any other decent places in the Midlands, but I'd probably be interested in going if one was set up.
There are some museums around Telford, Blists Hill and others.
