I really like the spectrum girl.
Ah Amy, glad you started this thread, since I was going to start one commending your latest avatar.  I like it, muchly!  Yesterday's "Asperger Year" was okay, except I think the figure needs to be more androgynous. The aspie angel was okay, but the one I'm seeing now, spectrum girl is by far the best, in my opinion.  You're good!

The aspergers year one doesnt need to be androgynous because its Hans Asperger's profile!

Duh.....you have now seen an example of my difficulty interpreting pictures in action...

I haven't got a very good monitor, and can't really make out what's in Energeia's avatar.  :(

Here you go, Stella.
It'll change in the not too distant future, but it kind of fits the mood I'm in these days.  Hope you can see it now.

Wow, Amy!
Tres aspie chic!
Oh now I see it, Energeia! How lovely    Before, I thought it was perhaps a swan on a pond....
Ah!  Swan on pond...Not a bad idea, actually.  It's amazing how much difference the monitor makes--i have two computers at work, and one one, you can see the avatar clearly and on another, basically not at all.  Thanks for asking, Stella!
Been a long time since I looked that good!
How about a middle-aged aspie?
Keep 'em coming...you're on a roll!

PS--Abe Lincoln?????????
Energeia, I've only got an old 14" monitor set on 800 x 600, and its set on 16-bit colour cos I only have a 1200 MHz processor with 256 Mb of Ram, and try not to make too many tasks that might tire Windows out with all the exertion.  And then again the screen is too far away for my reading glasses, but too near for my distance glasses, so that's most likely why I couldn't see what it was.

That spectrum skirt looks as though it's covering a mermaid's tail with a big fin on the end.

It kind of does. I loved mermaids when I was young. I used to put my feet together and turn them outwards and hop around pretending I was one.

Hello Amy, All, ici Ilja: This one I like the most, then Aspie Pride. Spectrum Girl, Aspie Angel.
But must it be a female? Last statistical count I know tells us there is a ratio 2:1 between male & female autistic.
Let me try to inspire You: The next is the picture on the golden plaquette that is sended with the Pioneer out of our galaxy 30 years ago by Nasa:

It is ment to make others aware of the existence of our species.
Legally it's older then 25 years (but You might have some moral considerations) so you are alowed to copy & redesign it.
Btw it looks better in any image-viewer or editor, I'm only concerned about the fe-male-issue... Not by Your work, You did well!
Ilja

I was considering using a smaller version of this  for a while, but I thought better of it!
I think it is funny thougth.

I like this one somehow. It seemed to suit you somehow. I was dissapointed when you changed it back to a cat.  You know if you had a larger version of it without the border it would be perfect on a shirt. perhaps sell it in the store.
Hello Amy, ici Ilja:

Ok, I get Your drift. Guess boys are more easely tempted to copy & use something they like. I took a look at the whole serie & I think I gonna use the red seal on my Autistic Bookmark Page.
I'm not good in emotional drawing, however my father was a pretty famous painter, & on a computer I find it simply difficult, but I might try to make one almost by myself that includes both sexes.
I also resized the Pioneer picture, I can't stand it when my input disrupt the layout from a bulletinboard.

Ilja
Yeah, of course, room enough on my site!
No my father was not an autist. I've only one painting from him on my site,
copyrightissues & such, let me try to link You through:

Here You find a few illegal published drawings by a museum from him:
