National Health Service workers get a salary, yes. That is the main service of the whole country. They do not make more money from recommending treatments.

I still get a little grief about my non-traditional views about my child's "disorder". I really don't know much about ABA. We have never allowed anyone to restrain my daughter. (traumatic and dangerous in and of itself) I don't see where using aversives in therapy is helpful, if a child is frustrated they are less likely to comply. I have a contract with our new OT that states she may not use any form of holding therapy, ever. So it's not just ABA, you really have to check out anyone working with your kids and know exactly what methods they are using.
