I'm sure everyone's noticed Amy's new avatar, which reminds me of Florence in The Magic Roundabout.  I'd choose the Ermintrude avatar if there was one. Moo!  :smile:

Its a strawberry shortcake character, called Blueberry Muffin. I collect them.

Stella--I just googled on Ermintrude, since I've never heard of it, being totally out of it culturally..

I am trying to download some Magic Roundabout shows through limewire. It's coming in slow though. My earliest memories are of watching Magic Roundabout. The show enchanted me when I was little. Does it still run on tv in the UK?

Nanda, the series ran on the BBC from 1965 - 1977.

I downloaded  Magic Roundabout desktop wallpaper with a super picture of Dougal, Florence, Zebedee, Brian and Ermintrude from the Magic Roundabout site at magicroundabout.com, which also has lots of stills from the series, and all sorts of other stuff.

I know my daughter is going to love it. When we do get to see the show it will bring back a lot of memories, just like smelling an old shoe.
