"Feel me as I touch you with my words
And send me back a cupful of letters on my screen" --Amy Nelson

Great poem on the site, Amy, thanks.
Check Andrew Main's article about autistic culture -
http://www.fysh.org/~zefram/autism/who_has.txt

It might be worth linking to it.
I found it difficult to read and understand honestly.
The words seemed to jump around, out of synch.
Amy, this section of AFF is extremely interesting. Do you mind if I use some excerpts for my research?

tnx, martina
I'm not sure what you mean by section?
I meant, the site: http://www.autisticculture.com/
Just realised now that is not a part of AFF anymore
It is a site in its own right, during the making of the site and before the domain name is ready on its own right, it has to be made on an existing url to view it. I was using AFF fo that as its practical.

What excerpts from the site did you want to use?
For sure what you (or Gareth?) wrote about Autistic Culture (http://www.autisticculture.com/index.php?page=culture) with the list of terms used by the Aspie community.
I must decide for the rest, Martijn Dekker's article is very long, but I wouldn't mind to quote parts of it (I would put the reference, with author and site, in my reference list at the end of the writing).
On Wikipedia earlier this evening, I read about a great artist/writer who happens to be autistic.

Her name is Vanesa Littlecrow and she is Puerto Rican. She was going to be in Grease but then the adminstration saw fit to take it off her. She has done many comics and several novels.
Bronwyn, thanks for the info, I will add her to celebrateautismnow.
