The email address looks as though it might be at a radio station, and there's no knowing if someone wants to be found by journalists and such as would get involved with them, by setting up an email address just for this purpose.
This Daniel may have made himself scarce just to get away from "Gecko" for ought we know.
Perhaps the Advertisement should be struck down altogether pending a full and frank disclosure sufficient for an informed judgement to be made.

When I read the original, I wondered if it was about himself (gecko)--i.e. he was seeking help to find himself.
