...you know, I consider myself quite good with a computer, I can program, 3D model, take them apart, reassemble them, fix them when busted, network basic bits and pieces - but every time I look on the AFF computer section I feel totally pwn3d, because i have no ideas what half the stuff *is*  :oops:

Erm... so what is it? - a server hub? O.o - and, what'd you want to do with it?

It's an SGI Origin 2000 cluster - 2 servers really, but networked together to appear as one.

And i'm going to do all kinds of fancy things.

Well, it was online on saturday for 5 hours but no FTP was allowed during that time due to bandwidth limits

So, i couldn't do anything with it

What CPU's does that thing run on? MIPS like most SGI's? Specs please! :mrgreen:
