I've just finished starting to setup a service on Sky interactive to allow you to access some of the site's features from a Sky satellite receiver. So far only the news items from the front of the site, the aims and the crisis numbers are available but I am working on the forums and chat.

Here's a screenshot of it running on the emulator (i'll get photos from it on the TV uploaded soon):

And my blog is also available of course Wink

If there was a thumbsup easily available, you'd be getting it here to the max.
Did i mention my personal site will also be expanded to give me command-line access to my machines at home via the skybox? But that's off-topic
Very much ON topic is that lack of thumbs up I see.
Great idea Gareth.
How is it/or how will it be accessed?
I've never used my box for interactive stuff before.
Press interactive
Go down 1 page (green button)
Select skykeys
Go to categories
News
Current affairs
Health and medicine
aff

enjoy Smile
Oops, forgot to mention:

Access is currently limited to developers Sad
http://www.betaskyinteractive.com

So you need to register to get the access code (a 4-digit code it asks you for)
If you want to view it online though, there is an ActiveX emulator available here:

Enter the URL http://wtv.aspiesforfreedom.com to see our site
Posted this in general, but i'll repeat it here:

How amazing all this is. I can hardly take it in, or think what it means.

How does Sky Interactive work? Can someone ask it to shew what channels it has about autism, and so find AFF? Is it something to which viewers must subscribe?
If you PM me I can give full instructions
Another point:
You only need a Sky digital subscription to view this. Sky Interactive is just an extra service provided by Sky in addition to the TV channels.
