Would be good to ask Martin Clunes about this - he will be moving to this area soon! He is also the show's exec producer, and the screening rights (Buffalo Productions) have gone world wide now - so the show has international appeal

Yep, definatley think he has Aspie traits, probably has full AS too. Good to see this on mainstream telly, but don't think the neuros will pick up on it alas
I can't believe that Wheal Jane is no more.

I have, unfortunately, not seen the show in question. I wonder if it's shown on TV here in Sweden? Most likely not, but since I watch so little TV I can't be sure.

I've often thought Agent Dale Cooper of Twin Peaks exhibits "typical Aspie traits". Has anyone else thought about this, as well?

Hmm, maybe I should try catch that - I'm from Falmouth originally (Born/lived rhere 18 years, now living in Spain) - hey tinny'
I am suprised this has not been talked about more, I only found one other thread (I put the link at the bottom). I new from the first show that they were trying to portray an aspie. I think they did it well in some parts as well, I also noticed another user (http://www.aspiesforfreedom.com/member.p...e&uid=5367). I like his website http://aci.selfip.org/ (a bit colourfull mind) I only wish I knew what it meant!

The main thing that gets me about this show, is that the psycholagist who is interested in his Aspieness is a crazy sod and I don't know what angle they are going to take. I am not going to say any more until I have watched this weeks episode.

I posted on another thread some time ago that I thought he has AS and it was brought up in last weeks episode in the UK. It's probably why the character and the show appeals to me so much.

Doesn't look like they are going to develop the AS storyline, alas.
