I have recently had a spoofed mail forwarded to me. If anyone receives a mail like this, please forward the full mail with headers to me at gareth@aspiesforfreedom.com.
I would like to inform everyone that we rarely send mails out, and if you do receive any suspicious mails claiming to be from me, Amy or anyone else related to or claiming to be representative of AFF then please forward the mail to myself or Amy.
The mail seems to have been sent to a msn group making a complaint as though it was from AFF. It is entirely bogus.
I they're just cranky because they aren't manly men like ourselves.
If Gareth or I want to contact a member we will nearly always use the forum pm system, rather than send an email.

We are waiting to hear which group, we dont know yet, it was sent to an individual that seemed to be running a group. The mail was written as though it was a complaint on behalf of AFF, it was sordid and nasty, tasteless, full of typos, and was clearly from someone very childish.
That leaves out members from AFF itself... now the rest of the internet users. Judging from the description, it sounds like a stupid prank someone decided to pull. If it isn't, it may be someone trying to get revenge. (what for though? We don't make many enemies like this.)

We decided to post about it in case other people/groups received such an email and were also concerned.
