As i roamed the forums, i noticed that there was one thing a bit missing: A Q&A section. Though i know one of the forum's main directives is informing the public and make them aware we're not ill, a section devoted to day-to-day things, or commonly asked questions could be a good gateway, i'm quite sure NT's have common questions about Asperger or Aspies having questions about how others dealt with certain challenges, and other things.(I got bombed back at school with questions, was kinda fun, being the center of positive attention for once, it gave me the oppertunity to show others my world and making them aware that Asperger doesn't make one less equal.)
Anyways, if the idea doesn't seem right, ignore the idea. Any feedback on this?

A sort of "My Asperger's Syndrome does not make me a sick person, but you make me sick" type thing? I'm in!
Well we do have an NT interaction section where they can post questions, does that count?
It does, but (and I know you're going to be able to predict this) I believe we should present a more aggressive front about information.
Hmm, how would you propose doing that?
Edit - and no I couldn't predict you would say that.
Printing up and sticking things everywhere would be one facet I endorse. Billposters in Sydney stick things up everywhere, so why not use it for something useful instead?
Like a poster campaign? I suppose if people wanted to do that, and it wasn't illegal in their area, it would be positive.
There is nowhere in my area to do that though, not living near a city.
Well, there are many jobs for many people (gotta love Commandant Lassard). Printers, distributors, designers will also be needed.
But to bring my focus back to online stuff, we need to start writing up things that aggressively describe the horrible reality.
Do you want to try making a poster as a sample? Do you create artwork at all?
With the exception of the models I paint, I am not a visual person at all. I have never been able to create a decent graphic in my life. I did draw things for a brief period when I was about twelve years old, but my finger/hand muscles being what they are, it just got to a point where it was too painful.
In my perusing across the various AFF forums, it appears as if questioning and answering happens pretty frequently and naturally. What's cool to me about these forums is that the answers are personalized, rather than being an objective dissemination of information, although that happens also. So I agree with Amy that the NT-AS forum seems to work pretty well for people asking questions.
Hmm, what about a newcomers, and questions forum? As newcomers usually want to ask certian questions too, that is to say NT newcomers, and parent newcomers.
They could ask questions too.
Good! I think I may have an endless supply of them....
