Let us challenge her to a test of evidence. Get as many couples together as we can where at least one is autistic, or as an autistic parent/grandparent. When they are in the first trimester, get her to prescribe her treatments or whatever and so forth. Provide documentation. Then, when the sample gives birth, record how many of the children show autistic spectrum anything within the first five years. I will bet money that the impact upon the number of autistic children there are will be zero.
Then again, she does not even appear to realise that when Aspies use the NT abbreviation, it is almost always derisive (seriously, I could count on one hand the number of times I have seen "NT" followed or preceded by anything positive).

Personally I dont feel that when I use NT it is always derisive, or even often derisive. I mainly use it just to describe a person or people.

I say let them do there stupid ideas. Then when there chances of having an autistic child incresses or stays the same, more people will have no choice but to accept that mercury isn't the cause.

Well, I would not mind any health care, that does not endanger (!!) the mother's or childs life or health.
I really can't accuse NT parents that they do not want their expected child be on the spectrum - life is so much harder, raising an autistic child in an ignorant world (by the way: ignorance is not a peculiarity of NTs, even if some Aspies tend to be ignorant in other ways).
Even if I had another child (I have an AS son and a NT son), it would not be my hearts desire that it is on the spectrum - my NT son has a much happier and easier childhood, no matter how much I fight for my Aspie son, trying to make his life happy. But it would in fact be a bigger wish for me, having a healthy child that's smart enough to be fine in life, no matter if NT or AS. If it wasn't, I'd try to handle the situation best I can.
So I can't see a point in accusing a parent for wishing for a "normal" child, as long as they are willing to do the best they can, if they get one that's different. Anyway, every child is different! There's no two alike, so whet's the matter!?
