Aspies For Freedom

The Government has just started a new system;
the Anti-Social Behavior Order.

These get given out to the rough kids,
the yobs, the scallys, the chafs.
They’re the one that that lie, cheat, steal.
The ones that bully shop keepers.
The ones that set fire to wheelie bins.
The ones that gang up on kids in groups of six and yell
"Give me all your money"
in a way only they can,
a way that makes you feel powerless and fearful
and broke.

People say that I'm anti-social.
But I don’t beat up kids, or set fire to bins,
so it's given another name.

I'm anti-social because I don’t join with the crowds.
I don’t like what they like,
eat what they eat,
say what they say,
beat who they beat.

They don’t do orders for me, so I have a disorder instead.

It seems strange, doesn’t it?
You can run with the crowd,
have loads of friends,
be the hero of the moment,
and be anti-social.
Or be the introvert,
the silent man,
the loner,
and be anti-social all over again.

But the strangest thing is this.
Why are the window breakers given orders,
and the quiet ones given disorders?

Who has the disorder, really?
The ASBO’s?
Or the Aspies?

I was saying the same type of thing a few days ago. I get accused of being anti-social for staying in my room on the computer, but I'm not hurting anyone am I?
