Yes, it's snowing heavily here in Bath.

We've had at least 2 inches of snow in a couple of hours, and it's still snowing!

We had a snowball fight with the people who live up the road and they built a snowman on the green just outside our house.  Unfortunately someone has just decapitated it!

Looks like I won't be able to get to University tomorrow.

Never mind!

we had snow where i am today, but the ground has been too wet for it to settle, yay!

I hate snow

Thank god it didn't settle too, i'm returning home tomorrow and the journey would be made worse (i've been away for just over a week)
In theory, it's supposed to snow  in Seattle tonight.  I hope it does, but  it's really entertaining when it snows here because the city is completely unequipped to deal with it. One week in the winter of 96-97 is snowed a foot, and paralyzed the city completely.  I think there are maybe 14 snowplows for a city of > 500,000 people.  Plus, Seattle is really hilly.

Stay tuned!
Sad  I really love snow and want some, and we haven't had any.
I love snow scenes, which seem to simplify and perfect a landscape.

No snow! Darn..
24 hours after I first posted about the snow here in Bath, I am pleased to say that the snow is still here.  It isn't snowing but it's so cold here that hardly any of it has melted.  The snowman built last night still stands all, although it is still decapitated.
I miss snow. I miss snow and the leaves falling and changing colours. It was beautiful. My stupid state has no seasons. It is currently warm here, it was warm yesterday and will be warm tomorrow. It will be warm forever. And leaves will fall off the trees and die, no colour change at all.
And yet you have those interesting hurricanes.  You have my sympathy, Subatai--move away when you can.
Hurricanes are disappointing. You'd think that there would be trees flying everywhere like gravity had suddenly stopped, but it's just wind and rain and misery. I'm moving the second that I can, family or not. Can't take it here, the atmosphere is stifling to the brain.

There are 4 seasons in Ireland.
The coldest, windy rain.
The rainy reason.
The seasons with the slightly less cold, but more rain again season.
And for course, cold windy rain again.

Amazingly Chris, 12 miles away in Bristol, although we had 2 inches of snow on Monday night it had all melted by 8 am on Tuesday, and I'm told that in the centre of town they didn't have any at all....

It's snowing! (not hard, but I see the flakes, I do I do)--Now, if it would only stick on the ground....

I'll leave work in an hour (early) and then work from home--I live about 4.5 miles from work and don't want to have to walk all of it--when it snows here everything shuts down if there's any accumulation, including the busses.
I so wish it would snow here in Portslade-on-Sea. Today has been dark and damp and cold, and a crisp coat of snow would throw light back into the sky, and brighten the gloomy winter colours.

Now all the snow here has been replaced by lots and lots of rain!  It's cold, wet and miserable here.

Sad

I'm missing the snow already.  Please let it snow again, it was fun while it lasted.
