I think that website is almost a candidate for the Room 101 thread! How presumptious can you get? You know where it probably comes from? Parents who do the RIGHT thing - and try to enter their child's world and succeed. Result - calm child. Presumption - cured! Which we know is not the case!!

Wow! I'd like to see what the quantum physicists think of this.  Could make for some interesting equations

I'll ask one! Wink

This is pottier than Potter. Big Grin

So are they saying if you love a child enough, your energy will cure their autism? ?_? ::Baffled::

And conversely, if the child is not "cured" it's because the parents don't love him enough. There's some failure-proof horsesh*t fo you.

I could take the word "potty" and do the obvious - but I'm not into toilet humour........oops too late! *runs off*
Autistic Child + Magical Pixie Dust ---> Neurotypical Child
This is another fine example of NTs thinking they know more than they don't and trying to apply that to the Autistic Spectrum.  Love is really nothing more than the result of chemicals in the brain getting to a certain mixture, it has nothing to do with electro-magnetics.

NO!! HARRY POTTER IS THE DEVIL!!! :OOOO

That sounds about as good as wearing one of those magnetic bracelets that they sell for "only 19.95" on t.v. and that the actors will claim 'makes them feel better'. Never you mind, that we all know that there's not a single iota of logic to subjecting your biology to a non-electromagnetic field of energy. You'd get more positive results in the sense of creating a change by holding a cell phone to your ear and producing cancer through exposure to a real electromagnetic field of energy. That's all the more an electromagnetic "cure" could hope for, anyhow.

There's always pyramid power, I suppose.

LOL, it's a reversible reaction! It's a pity that the equilibrium lies so strongly to the right. Tongue

In my next book which will be available for 12 easy payments of only $49.99 I will explain how you can get rid of Autism by climbing to the top of a cellphone tower and holding your head up to the antenna.  I also explain the wonderful healing properties of a microwave oven with the door ripped off.
I think that this is thought provoking.Big GrinBig Grin

ROFL at the rerversible reaction, now, for ten points, tell us all, which reactants are being reduced here? Big Grin

LOL! Hmm...*strokes beard in deep thought*. 'Reduce', aside from referring to the gaining of electrons, can also mean 'to bring down to a smaller number'; thus it would appear that Autistic Children are being reduced. However, this is based on the assumption that the proposed (and disconcertingly whiz-bang) cure actually works.

Can I have my ten points now? Big Grin
