I have seen similar threads for music, so I wondered what people are watching on tv, computer, dvd.

I am currently watching Nuclear 911 on the history channel, charting the histiry of nuclear disasters, called 'broken arrows'.
A DVD of "The Perfect Storm" about an American  trawler caught in a cyclone.

Mythbusters is very good, I particularly liked the shooting underwater episode.
Stella, have you seen 'The day after tomorrow' about an extreme global ice age? It has good special effects, I love the ice scenes, and wolves.
I haven't seen it, no, Amy - but I do so like ice scenes with wolves - strange to relate I noticed it was on sale in Tesco's for £7.99, so perhaps I'll buy a copy of it.

My favorite shows:
CSI
mythbusters
psychology shows
A Baby's World
Serial Experiments Lain

My favorite movies:
But I'm a Cheerleader!
Drop Dead Gorgeous
Ever After
I am watching Columbo, I love the formulaic storylines.
I've watched most of Bleak House and my first thought was "It's nowhere near foggy enough!"
I always watch University Challenge and Mastermind too, Fozzie, and like listening to Brain of Britain on Radio 4.

But I avoid those frightful mock quizzes of the type hosted by Ann Robinson, where glittering cash prices are offered for such achievements  as knowing that Paris is the capital city of France, or that pesetas are not the currency of the Republic of Ireland. The ritual humiliation of the contestants, and the need for them to gang up on the weakest competitors in order to win money seems an especially neurotypical entertainment, which has nothing to do with the love of knowledge seen in University Challenge and Mastermind.

I also watch property programmes such as Location, Location, Location and Grand Designs.
Judge Judy - queen of logic!
I would really have liked to have seen last year's royal weddings but they weren't televised in this country. Sad Unlike most of the rest of Europe...
Today is 'Seconds from disaster' day on the National Geographic channel in the UK.
Accident investigation stories with computer animated re-enactment.
Its really good.
National Geographic - Amy just told me to post this about air accident investigation, it's on right now
That was great!
