My NT parents and I don't get along very well.
I don't have a job and I have no plans for college.
My main goal in life to get married and have kids.
To Mom and Dad, this is completely unacceptable.
They hate the fact that I have AS.
They hate that I have no interest in college or a career.
They want me to be "normal" like their other daughter, my twin sister.
They refuse to accept me the way I am.
And it’s making me miserable. I don't know what to do.
If you are of legal age, then what do you want to do?
It is doubtful that your parents are going to let you just sit around home and do nothing but wait for Prince Charming to show up at the door. Do you have a boyfriend?
If your parents are willing to fund an education for you and let you live at home while studying, why not take that offer up. That way you will be able to get a job that you like and make some money to save for when you get married. Once you do get married, you could always quit working.
Don't know what you want to do? Maybe you can get some vocational testing. Whatever your strong interests maybe could very well be a clue to what type of job you might enjoy doing.
Yes, I have a boyfriend. He and I would like to get married as soon as we have everything we need but he has AS too so its been a slow process.
My parents are not willing or even able to fund an education for me.
They don't have any money.

I just realized I posted this reply without logging in first. Oops.
Does your boyfriend have a job which is sufficient to support you both?
Have you considered training in childcare? That way you could work as a childminder and still become a full time mum. Plus when you have kids of school age you could work in a nursery or as a classroom assistant. My mum was a childminder and is now a class room assistant.

Not yet. He needs to get his GED first so right now he's looking for a job to cover the cost of that.
We hope to get married in about 3-5 years.

That might be a good idea. I'll look into it. Thanks.
