I was thinking about asking this question when I previously posted my questions about left-handed/right-handed and blood group, trying to find any random particularly common factors, but I thought it might be a bit embarrassing.
Enuresis, aka bed wetting
I've been prompted to post this by a thread on the Awares conference site, some mums are discussing about their Aspie children wetting the bed at the age of 6, 8, up to 12...
I was enuretic until around the age of nine.

Up to puberty for me. Actually, the "embarassing" situation has helped me with my boys. When they learned that I wet the bed until about 12 or 13, it got much easier for them to deal with.

I was toilet-trained at a normal age; but I've wet the bed very occasionally since. Maybe once a year, on average.

I wet the bed frequently until about 7-8 years old. I wet the bed ocasionally until I was about 12, I'd guess. Can't really remember. My 7 year old son still wets the bed nearly every night. His pediatrician told me it was very common in ASD children.
My dad also wet the bed until he was pretty old, and so did some of my siblings, can't remember which ones (I'm the 2nd of 5.)

Lulu, as a nurse, I can't help but suggest, for whatever you think it may be worth, that you try Kegel exercises and maybe even get yourself checked to see if you may have an asymptomatic
urinary tract infection.
urinary tract infection.

I wet the bed until I was seven. My parents took my brother to see a specialist about it because he wet the bed aswell (I was overlooked). Whilst the specialist was talking to my brother I was reading a leaflet which said that the two most important things to do was to think positive (it suggested thinking "I will be dry" over and over to yourself before you went to sleep) and creating a routine. It worked instantly and I never did it again. I don't do the first thing anymore but I still have the routine.

I don't remember wetting the bed at all. I guess wetting sucks and you don't want to ooze yourself.
The irriating things was when I was 17 years old staying over my mom's friend house and she told me to go to bathroom before going to bed. Like I am going to wet the bed?!!? I didn't say that because I tend to keep my comments to myself because I am staying in their place.

I don't think I've ever wet the bed before as far as I can remember.
I've been "known" to wait till the last minute.
There is only one bathroom in our house and three residents includeing me and my parents so half of the time it is taken, so I have to wait. D:< I found that the best way to hold it is to pace back and forth.

That is part of the routine I go through before I go to sleep. Even if I don't feel the need to go I will wait up until I have to. After I have gone I can then go to sleep. This routine never gets broken unless I am that tired I fall asleep in a place that isn't my usual designated sleeping area (e.g. a setee) for some reason it doesn't bother me then, though most of the time those sleeps are not planned.

I don't think I ever wet the bed. I know my brother who was six years younger never did. But my grandson wet the bed until he was 10 or 12. He wore an adult diaper when he went to visit friends over night. He definately does not have AS.
