Zapper device is a cure for autism -

Autism

This is another mental disorder that Dr. Clark says is easily cured by zapping. Croft had the opportunity to witness this in a seven-year old girl who was also suffering from a severe flu.

After a half hour the flu symptoms disappeared and she turned into a chatterbox. She enrolled in school the next week and was doing very well the last time Croft saw her.

The "Terminator" Zapper
$134.00 USD
The Zapper is not recommended for people with pacemakers or for pregnant women.

This bizarre and scary nonsense was sent to me in an email as an 'alternative therapy' to cure autism.
His website's logo sooo reminds me of these old-day quacks.

On the page explaining "why" he says it destroys fungi/bacteria, virus and other harmful stuff; but how would it destroy bacterial cells, but not human cells. How would it destroy virus', which arn't cells at all, but complex proteins. And Autism is none of the above.
And the name 'world without parasites', I sincerely hope that is not including autism...  :?
From a site that also promotes the zapper -

Thinking for yourself is worth the effort.

"... Any positively offset [DC] frequency kills all bacteria, viruses and parasites simultaneously given sufficient voltage (5 to 10 volts), duration (seven minutes), and frequency (anything from 10 Hz to 500'000 Hz)."

Really?  If this were true, we could just stock up on 5 volt batteries and taken them out and lick them everytime we got sick.  Forget the $134 device.

Good point, If it was true, I'd take the 9 volt battery out of my test meter and put my tongue on the battery's contacts for a few minutes

Quacks and charlatans who understand nothing of the effects of electricity on the human body have always been confident of finding a marketing opportunity in the ignorance of others,

Hmmm. My stepdad had a stun gun that was for dogs (I think- it may have been for some other purpose). It was pretty nasty.

Anyway, he zapped me with it frequently, just for fun, and as you can see, I'm still autistic.   It didn't cure me at all.
Balderdash!  Forget that lollygagging quackery about electricification - The only scientifically proven cure for autism and its assorted ailments is Dr. Bailey's patented radioactive tonic, 'Radium for Reinvogarotion' of the fluids and spirits!
I heard that crime and over-population could be cured with a 'shooter'. Are they made by the same people?

Sounds like you've done that before

(You're not the only one)

How else is a girl to tell if a battery's flat?

It leaves your tongue with a tingling sensation

I've also put my tongue on a telephone cable that wasn't terminated to anything, it's about 40+ volts (can't remember exact voltage) on a phone line

And I still have AS

Psedoscience is annoying. It...

A. It doesn't follow the scienctific method (or at least not very well)

B. It uses something that sounds weird or mystrous.

C. Psedoscientists have little or no scientific background.

D. It never concider any objection to there theories.

It's sad how in our world such foolish thing, like the Flat Earth Soicity, are around.
I heard the flat earth can be made round by being zapped with a 9 volt battery...
