Recently, you may have noticed Red Sox pitcher Tim Wakefield doing TV commercials on NESN to raise money for NAAR. He is raising awareness about autism as "a devestating disorder" and encourages the public to support a cure by donating to NAAR.
Balderdash! He probably signed an endorsement deal with the same guys who think Abner Doubleday actually invented baseball (he didn't). Wakefield needs to WAKE UP and stop promoting a cure for autism like it's some kind of cancer! Tell him to stick to what he does best: PITCHING! Autism is not BAD, it's merely DIFFERENT.
