It would be so weird for someone to do "automatic typing" like "automatic writing" that was popular in Victorian times during seances. A psychic would sit at a table with a pencil and paper. The spirit would come through and write the messages using the psychics hand.

Have you heard of the mouth and foot painters? These are people who paint holding a paint brush with either their mouth or their toes. There is a charity that sends out cards with the paintings on them for sale.
Maybe someone could do something like that for people with AS. Some pity charity thing. I would love to get paid for something. How about taping a pencil to your forehead and trying to type poems. Headbanger computer poets society. make a donation.

I suppose automatic writing and automatic typing must work differently. It sure made my spell check go crazy though.
To be honest, I can do automatic writing - I found out quite by accident. I suppose it comes from my subconscious but, who knows for sure. I have even been able to play piano in an “automatic” way too. Both the writing and piano playing I do with my eyes closed….pretty neat parlor trick, actually. The piano playing I can do only every now and then, the writing I do as soon as I put a pen or pencil in my right hand….even though I’m left-handed. Go figure.
