Glad that you're back, Karms.
Good to see you Karms. I really like the way you have given us the stages. Thanks for that. I don't paint with gooey real life paint myself (paint with pixels) but am fascinated with the processes of others.

In the past I have been interested in the following

Pre Raphaelite painters
Caravaggio (sorry mental block on spelling)
klimt
Madame Yvonde
Pierre et Gilles

Lots more ....

Ummmm,  devotional painting...

Seeing your work reminded me .... thanks
Fantastic!!

calla I love pre-raphaelite painters, have you ever visited the Lady Lever art museum on the Wirral? It has some amazing pieces.

Yes I have Amy, the pieces were good, it is a lovely gallery too. Also Port Sunlight is a special place for me. (started my interest in Garden Suburbs)

I have also visited (on many many occasions) the Manchester City art gallery.(It's where the interest started for me)

And also the one in Newcastle (forgotten the name) All for the Pre-Rafaelites :-)

I also collected many books on the subject including female painters. And then it went into Julia Margaret Cameron and on and on.

Thanks for reminding me :-)

Whoa, neat!
Hope this gives you even more inspiration for your paintings
You paintings are very lovely. I like your use of color.
