It's cool that you hid a few little surprises in places (like the light that turns on when you click on the flower on the web presences page, stuff like that is fun).

S..
you are one of very few people who actually discovered it.. most people don't realise there are "hidden" things..

S.. by the way, have you CLICKED on the light?? If you click on the light it will tell you where those buildings and lights are!!
Indeed :-)

However our law says you are only allowed to call it BOEREwors if it contains 80% or more beef. Also not all boerewors tastes good unfortunately (there are many recipies). It goes well with Mieliepap (maizemeal porridge) and "Sheba" (an african word for tomato relish). That is how the farmers ("boer" means farmer) eat traditional boerewors    and yes it's yummy. And yes, it also goes well with mash.
Have you found my freaky baby picture? it's in the biography section..
well...    actually.... the work is incomplete... sigh.. but no.. the light of the house doesn't do anything.

I'm actually currently planning on redesigning my site, but I ran out of ideas... any ideas for something new in the same style maybe?
Thanks

(If curebies cured me, I don't think I'd be able to paint anymore...)

I won't be back as often though - autism stuff getting a bit much for me (psychological overload). - Nothing against AFF though.

I'll pop in from time to time
Thanks Energia. It's good to see you all.

The stages are just for a matter of interest. It always amazes me what the painting looks like initially compared to the finished version. I really like working with oil paint. The smell of linseed oil and mineral turps is really nice. I also paint in "pixels" (for a living - designer). But I enjoy working with tangible stuff like paint and canvases and the smell of course (did I mention this earlier?)

The great masters are a source of inspiration to me - I like Titian. I also like Vermeer and Michelangelo (he was an Aspie you know..). Observing their techniques in terms of working with shadow and light and layering and glazing techniques - use of mixed colour to build up surface. I learn a lot from scrutinizing their work because they followed the "formal techniques" of working with oil.

This angel is a statue in the Genoa Cemetery Italy.
I don't like the red and green one. I don't like green... reminds me of slime. I also don't eat green jelly babies... uchhh
notice:
I moved all my art stuff onto page 1, so it is easier to view that way.
