THE SYSTEM OF SENSING by Donna Williams *)
I showed them a world left behind
They saw it in half pictures.
I handed them self before ego.
Intangibly, they touched it.
I spoke them a way from long ago.
They heard it in half whispers.
I shared a reality in which all things are equal.
In their inequality they tried to grasp it without concept.
I showed them the evolutionary step they didn’t take.
They were divided
And the unquestionability of ‘normality’, ‘reality’ and ‘humanness’
Existed no more.
