I believe we are past due to take our struggle against the NeuroTypical oppressor to the next level: armed insurgency. We Aspies alone, however, are too sparse in number and too sporadic in location to fight our menace without the aid of others rejected by the NT establishment. Combined with our fellows in neurobiological distinction, the Autistics, and our relatives, the ADDers, we can fight for what's ours.
I know many of you are questioning the need for such drastic action. Let me ask you this: Is it fair that you were taunted and bullied in school? Does it even hint of justice to you that we are all too often denied employment on the basis of Our Distinction rather than on the basis of our expertise? We have tried to make amends with the NT host, but they have only mocked us. The Age of the Carrot has passed, my friends; we are living in the Age of the Stick.
The NT has dealt every sort of cruelty onto our minds and bodies. We must thank them humbly and return the favor with interest. We shall storm their cities and assert our rights. We shall create a society cherishing equality among the NeuroTypicals and the Autistics. Those who defy our radical plan are to be extinguished without discrimination.
I have spoken harsh words, I know; so I would like to remind you that, just as not all humans are alike, neither are all NTs. NeuroTypicals who sympathize with Our Struggle are to be treated like fellow Aspies. We shall spare these enlightened few, for we are a merciful lot.
I thank you for considering this, the great question of our time. We must always be aware that time is not our friend and that the Struggle is ever fought. To arms, my friends, to arms!
[quote="Wolfy"]Heres a little somethign for you to think about: as it happens people already have a very good reason to be suspicious of aspies that not even we can argue with. I am referring to those whos obsessions focus on the more inappropriate or dangerous things.
How many more reasons are you going to give them?
quote]
Ah, 'Them', 'They'. Words of the paranoid.
Anyway, to what reason do people have to be suspicious of aspies?
Examples please.
Ta.
Creation of explosives and even ricin attacks have been attributed to people with Aspergers acting purely put of obsessiveness.
These are not my words. This was discussed at length when I first joined Aspergia.
And yes I'm paranoid. I've been paranoid for as long as I can remember. Self-awareness is a great thing.
Lovely.
Then of course, you might find that if you are paranoid, maybe those people following you are REALLY out to get you...Maybe you should strike first, MAYBE you should kill them, yes...kill them, then they won't follow me anymore....

On a more serious note.
There is a difference between self-awareness and paranoia.
Also, I never knew some Aspies were responsible for attacks of that nature, well, you learn something new everyday.
I didn't compare self-awareness and paranoia - just implied that I'm aware of myself which includes the fact that I'm paranoid

Ah. I see
What do you need to be paranoid about anyway? Its not like the men in black suits are coming to get you or anything.....or are they.....

It's the men in white I'm more worried about
"I'm not crazy! The Little green man who lives in the teapot told me to do it! I'm telling you, take him not me!"
Honestly, how can you be crazy? Don't you know your shortly going to have an armed revolution? Sheesh, somepeople... :p
Geez, I didn't think I'd be taken so literally! It's just satire! Maybe we should turn this thread into a conversation about aspies and hyper-literalism.
Furthermore its important to note that the vast majority of people in prison are not on the autistic spectrum, they are "normal", shouldnt we be more concerned about them, than of each others potential behaviour?
I'd guess that virtually no prisoners are on the autistic spectrum; and, if a few are, prison is not the place for them. Prison would be a much harsher punishment for an aspie than for an NT.
Anyway, I haven't only made three posts. I've made a few on the old board, too. Take a look. I'm definitely no militant.
I had a big post typed in here about how the original post was still offensive, and then I deleted it, realising how dumb it sounded, suffice to say, that I find that kind of satire offensive.
bla... I so suck at expressing myself....
thats not the point i was trying to get across lol.. the point i kinda over subtly hidden or whatever i did lol (eek i'm weird when deprived of sleep) more like i went weird and twisted my own point lol.. i think my point is saying that stuff kinda reduces this thread to that level but i'm not too sure since my state of mind at the time of posting is different than it is now.. i sure confuse myself ... lol
I can see the light! Praise the Lord!
i think you confused me too darling.
There is much research needed on Autism and the History of Ideas. Nevertheless, studies about hundreds of famous actual and literal people have been made to examine the relationship between autistim, asperger, ahdh and more from the evolution of human kind to present political technological and political history .
Today's topic:
The war on TROJ, the warrior ACHILLES, and AUTISM.
The following fragments are excerpts from Dinah Murray and Mike Lesser's article
http://www.autismandcomputing.org.uk/mind.htm
It seems that the Autistic spectrum of behaviours is evidence of one extreme of the normal distribution of types of mind that we would expect to find, given the environment in which the human race has evolved. It is a mind optimised for searching for sustenance in a dangerous environment in which resources are scarce.
The attention tunnel which links the unarmed hunter to the prey must be optimised for the immediate high gain high risk opportunity. It must have a propensity to accept what is seen, even when this contradicts what was formerly thought to be known. It must be sensitive to immediate data rather than to pre-existent or received information, sensitive to clues to where future food resources might be concealed, rather than to knowledge of where food is presently known to be available. Such a mind must have a propensity for actual rather than literal information. The capacity for a high degree of sensory acuity is essential in the hunter. Spatial abilities are an obvious requirement. The ability to endure pain, to ignore the agony of the long distance chase and to go without sleep have also emerged in the selection process.
The skills required in food foraging are similar to those required in war. The stories of Enkido, Achilles, CuChoran, Hercules, Perseval, boy Cornwall on the burning deck and many other military heroes provide a lexicon of aspects of the syndrome. The stories of heroes also provide examples of exploitation of the weaknesses inherent in the conditions.
I wonder if the army has stormed your house yet. You can't take a small number of people(1/166 i believe) and call them an army. We need a homeland that nobody could mess with. And you might just want to check the terrorist list, 'cause America sends spys into peace organizations, so you dont stand a chance.
hehe its 200 or so now, so our chances are about 2.66 times better than with 75, right? hmmm. now we are probably up to 1 in 10000000 rather than 1 in 26600000... We need to find and populate an uninhabited area if we want our own territory. someplace far away from any major NT population center.
My friend on the spectrum has had a lot of run-ins with the law and he's only 15. He takes things literally, hates people touching him, must have all his things the way he put them, and has almost zero social skills (although he's nice, and learning). Only problem is when he's overloaded, he reacts by flailing at the nearest thing or person. So they say he's conduct disordered. He's been in and out of juvie for some time now, all because people can't understand AS. He'd be quite happy sitting there reading a dragon book and eating zebra cakes.
It's a cream filled sweet cake, with black stripes on white; which is why it's called a zebra cake.
