I'm new here. I'm a 26 year old woman in Halifax, NS, Canada. I'm a self-diagnosed Aspie. I don't really know waht people think of self diagnoses, and I'd like to see a doctor, but I really do have it. I know with more and more people learning about it, more and more people will be "hopping on the bandwagon" but it also helps more undiagnosed people learn about it. In just a few days, this site, and messageboard, has already helped me gain confidence in myself. It's so good to know there are so many people "like me" out there. That I'm not just some weird, shy, freak. Those are words people used to describe me.
Hi crys, welcome to AFF. It can be hard for adults to get a diagnosis, so some remain as self dx. Some dont want an official dx and are happy without a 'label'
