I have "The Bag of Holding", Ren's Hair Mod, Unlimited Rings & Amulets, and a few that I made, Poisongrip arrows, Superregen ring, and a feather necklace.  I will also eventually get the Night Mother money one so I can get extra money after the DB quests.  She just turned lvl 7 now.  I want to get her up to 10 so she can get the Skeleten key from Nocturnal, and do some other shrine quests.  What is a good lvl to start to join guilds?  I don't know if I should bother w/ thieves guild, should I?  I was thinking yes, then no,...

Yes, do the Thieves Guild - it'll screw you over when it comes to doing the first bit of Knights of the Nine, but it's worth it - some of the best quests, and one of the very best items in the game.

Zelda: Spirit Tracks
S.T.A.L.K.E.R - Call of Pripyat

Made by a team that works a few miles outside the exclusion zone around the Chernobyl NPP - the area is recreated perfectly ingame (with the exception of large spans of empty fields - some areas are sort of squished up, like the Jupiter chemical plant and the actual city of Pripyat).

Incidentally, the city of Pripyat is creepy as all hell. I mean, wow.
Word of warning -  CoP is brutally hard at times. Also, first quest you get, you get tricked - if you chase the guy and gun him down once he's away, you can get the item back, or you can just return to Beard and he'll say something along the lines of "well, that was stupid of you".

Danny B Wrote:
There was a nuclear fallout...when I was doing a quest. All the quest characters died and the quest got auto-completed so I thought "That's that." Many hours later in the game I found out that one of the quest characters was supposed to have an item I needed. I also shot a guy for trying to gun me down with a shotgun (I know, careless of me) apparently you weren't supposed to.

You killed Noah, you horrible, horrible man!

BUT IT'S OK - he has the PDA for the route to the Southern Plateau on him - portal up by the burnt farmstead.

...You're utterly screwed once you get the non-essential quest for the Compass artifact though.

Emissions are still a bit buggy - that's the reason they didn't make it into the first game.

wait, TWO PDAs?

I only got the one, and that was from the cooling tower anomaly.

I don't use Artefacts, just stockpile them until Beard asks for that particular one.

You got both sets of all three tool tiers yet?

I use the Exoskeleton for moving loads of loot - once you get Nitro to do the third tier upgrades to it, you can sprint in it.

I mostly use the Spetznaz suit though - more mobility, and it's more durable.

I use a fully upgraded Storm-6, and a fully upgraded L85-A1 (the IL86) for when I'm a bit low on 7.62

I have the named semiauto and pump shotties - if you do the second tier of upgrades to the semi, you can make it full auto. Well worth it - though you must take the increased mag size upgrade.

Getting back to Oblivion, I am trying to learn how to mod from here!  Smile  I hope I can pass the "class"!

Once you know how, it's dead simple to crank out mods - though the quality of your early ones are likely to be a bit, uh, suspect Big Grin

That's due to the bassackward way that Grenade of Grenade: Grenade Grenade 2 handles multiplayer.

I am playing Forza 3, but dammit... we need some better racing games on the Xbox 360! I played Race Driver GRID, which was alright, but it just wasn't right for me. PGR4... What was the point of this racing game? I am not going to even touch Need For Speed Shift, as I have long ago declared to never EVER by anything developed or published by EA ever again... After Burnout Paradise, which was the same old crap over and over again.

Midnight Club LA... The only good thing about this game is the 1980 Pontiac Trans Am, but this city-racing crap is a dying fad that really did not need to be revisited once again. The game isn't even as good as Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition and it completely ripped off Forza's livery editor. And it's still frustrating as hell with its rubber band AI, now they taunt you over and over again, making it worse until you smash your controller because you (very narrowly) lost that stupid race for the umpteenth time!

Forza 3 is the only good racing sim (well besides Forza 2, but it's getting kind of old) on the Xbox 360 that has a good variety of cars and good physics. But when it comes to what I want and what I expect out of a game today, Forza 3 is only halfway there! There is just not that much to do except race the crappy AI or race the crappy drivers online, or try to sell something over the storefront.

I think the real problem with the racing genre today is that game developers are lacking ambition. The Playstation 2 and Xbox (classic) had some great racing games that were very ambitious!

Gran Turismo 4 didn't deliver on the online play, but they sure delivered on over 800 vehicles and a lot of challenges to complete!

Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition had a lot of customizations, 3 cities, probably over 40 vehicles, and then a Greatest Hits edition came out with an additional city and more cars!

TOCA Race Driver 3 (the reason I was disappointed with GRID) was freaking sweet as well. You get to race rally cars, touring cars, stock cars, F1 cars, semi-trucks, MONSTER TRUCKS, muscle cars, GO KARTS... even lawnmowers! No motorcycles, though. The physics were a mix of arcade and sim, but the game was a lot of fun.

Why can't they have games like this anymore? I feel like the game industry is dying with this lack of progression... Sad

I wouldn't mind buying one of the banned hacked boxes second hand to run as a cheap linux box - ironically this would be better supported than linux on the PS3 these days Sad
