Any other Sit. Com freaks in here?
Here! I love sit-coms, even if most of them tend to suck big-time. My favorites are That 70's Show (because of the characters, but recently it has become pretty bad. It's kinda sad, actually.) and Futurama. It has a jewish alien doctor with claws and tentacles as well as an evil cleptomanic robot from Mexico, what's not to love? Must get the DVD boxes, I've only seen ten episodes or something like that.
I have a top 5 list. You probably won't recognize two of them:
1.Bonsai(so offensive that it is no longer seen on television)
2.Family Guy
3.Simpsons(sad now, but Groening will pull it off, I know he will)
4.The Critic(another one you've never heard of, really good but really unpopular)
5.Futurama
Honorable mention: Newsradio(6), Seinfield(7), Bull****(it's the name of Penn and Tellers show, if they renew it there is a lot of potential)(8), Friends(9), Daily Show(10)
Hehe, you're right, I haven't seen any of those, except for Futurama and The Simpsons (Yeah, everyone knows that Simpsons is a pale shadow of what it once were, but I think all hope is lost for it. But I'm hoping that Groening will start a new and better show soon, like he did with Futurama). I've heard a lot of good stuff about Family Guy, but they don't air it on any of the three channels I have. Yeah, that sucks. How about online Flash-sit-coms, you watch those? You know, the ones that are made by amateurs with very basic programs, like Flash, but that are very good anyway? My favorites of those are of Homestar Runner (EVERYONE loves Homestar Runner, or at least Strong Bad), College University http://www.newgrounds.com/collection/col...rsity.html and John's Arm http://www.newgrounds.com/collection/johnsarm.html . Great stuff!
Family Guy is incredible, you have to watch it. You should also look for the final 10 mini episodes of The Critic on flashplayer(I think that's where I found them). I'll check out some of the ones you suggested, I'm looking for a new one now that there is no Critic or Bonsai(I am convinced that I am the only person on earth that ever watched Bonsai, which is a shame).
I've seen The Critic and Bonsai, although not much.
Bonsai was addictive and by far the funniest show that I have ever seen. Comedy Central has shown a couple of episodes of Critic and Bonsai around 2 am, although I think they stopped.
This looks like an old thread but I just joined.

Simpsons is good (my fave character being Lisa) but Family Guy is even better. It's outrageous- I love shows that have good sociopolitical commentary while being funny. and I miss Futurama.

Another awesome show is Malcolm in the Middle.

I also enjoy British comedy- watch old BBC shows on PBS- Keeping up with Appearances, Are You Being Served, Monty Python etc.
You miss futurama? It's on daily here
It's Monday through Thursday here. A bit late, though. Not to mention they're putting out DVD movies of it soon. Should be excellent.
I remember the crictic, it starred john lovitz as voice, as for favorites i would have to say Family Guy
I LOVE ALL THOSE SHOWS EEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

(manny is still awsome!)
Futurama is back now, finally, and hopefully Adult Swim will pick up The Critic and bring that back, too. Also worth noting is whether anyone here likes It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia?
I love the IT crowd! I'm pretty sure there is going to be a second series soon.

Actually, it is. I like these shows as well as the Happy Tree Friends and Robot Chicken! Anyone else like these shows?
