Aspies For Freedom

A man with strong aspie traits, or maybe actually aspie, is through to the final of Big Brother in the UK.
It would be really good to see someone seen as eccentric and geeky by most, to be appreciated enough to win.

He said earlier how he hasn't had time for any girlfriends as his special interests at a radio club take up so much of his time.

He is much more interesting than the usual contestants who talk about fashion and nonsense.
His name is Eugene.

If so, then it would be very cool I don't really enjoy those kinds of shows though.

Eugene HAS got aspie- like qualities... a telling moment for me was when he pondered out loud that he could tell you the workings of a camera but not know how to behave at a party... :lol: how many of us know similar feelings to that???

Aspie or not though, he's honest, genuine, hardworking, and probably the nicest housemate this year (ever?) and I shall certainly be spending 25p this week voting for the man... yay!

I love Big Brother. I learn something valuable about how people interact with each other every year, stuff I can then use in my own interactions. its fascinating.  I dont watch any other TV though... no 'similar' shows...

Well, Eugene didn't win but he came pretty close. Coming 2nd is a great achievment. I'm surprised he even got this far. And he went away with £50,000! That always help things/ The other guy, Anthony, was the only other one who deserved to win so I'm happy for him.
