I too think Heath had Asperger's Syndrome. It certainly fit his style.

Being Aspie has more to do with the methods of thinking and acting and nothing to do with actual ideology.

The only ideology I find underrepresented in Aspiedom is centrism. We tend to be either very old-fashioned or bohemian in our outlook.

There are a lot of old-style conservatives, libertarians and Marxists on the Autism spectrum.

I am pretty sure that Enoch Powell and Sir Keith Joseph were Aspies.

I think Tony Benn and Dennis Skinner are other possibilities.
William Hague, Conservative leader from 1997-2001 admitted to likely being "faintly autistic" when asked by a reporter recently.

He, like myself, has a penchant for election results and data and in my younger days (note: I am 25-years-old) I was a far-right reactionary although I have moved to the left by now.
