Assuming you mean spells that would be powerful, I must say spellcasting. I would be able to do incredibly many things, possibly even including everything else on the list. (not to mention that I could run around, laughing evilly and grinning maniacally, throwing fireballs and lightningbolts everywhere, while people run away in panic, screaming :twisted:. then I could hunt people down and force them to worship me. AhHAhahHaHahahHahahAhHahhaHahahHahhaHahHA!!111!!!11!)
Seriously however, all the new possibilities would allow me to live my life fuller than ever. (I would however do so in secret, and not let anyone know that I wouldn't be completely sure I could trust. On the other hand, perhaps I could use some spell to guarantee that people could be trusted...)
I picked time travel, as it is the major thing that I want to do in life (even though its not theoretically possible).
It all depends on how we view time. If we see it as the hours on a clock ticking away, then time travel is not possible, but if we see it as the 4th dimension, which is around us constantly, in waves and coils, then it may, in fact be possible.
Entering the paranormal realm, there are some interesting accounts of people experiencing 'time slip', where for a short period, they can see and interact with people and places from some past period.
Another way:
Run as fast as you can; we travel into the future all the time the faster you move though space the faster you move though time. Going back in time, however, is a very diffrent and all togather more complcated. Most ideas involve black holes, worm holes, or cosmic strings (not relate to the strings in string theory).
Yes it hought what that accepting optiin was all about.
But anyway. Time travel. going faster than light is to back in time not forward. So not that good of a way for time travel as you can only go backwards. And its a theroy andway, not fact yet as it has not been proven.
And anyway the faster you go, The slower time gets. Not faster.
Sorry I meant that because you wouldn't age as fast the world around you would go faster. I might have made a typing mistake.
So why do we only get to choose one? We could come up with some really good scenarios with different combinations.
i have wanted that too, many times. the list could be endless. but i do not know what is most important to everyone else so i just put a snapshot of what i was thinking

Time travel appeals to me but the one out of these choices I'd most like to have is better ability to persuade as it seems as if I'm on the other side of the equation with people trying to persuade me that they're right. I'd just like to be able to do a bit of persuading back.
