I just joined AFF today - having read about it in New Scientist.

Wandering around the Forum, I found a FINE post on NT/AS interaction by AB ... ..  got brave enough to respond to it, too.

I'm no artist, but making compositions with Poser helps me understand (and vent?) the sort of frustrations AB talked about in his post. . . Here's one I made last week as I tried to work through some "issues" that I'm having right now with my men's group. ("Can you find me in this picture?"  --- not too difficult)

Apparently making the composition was not entirely successful because I elected not to attend the group this week, and now I'm wondering if I ever will again.



Anyway, I'm happy to have found AFF.

I'm the one in the white tank-top -- being physically prodded by the leg of the guy on the floor, who gestures at me with his arm and yells that there's something I'm "holding back."   He wants me to level with the other men  about what I'm feeling - - - and I'm trying hard to figure that out.  I made the composition to help me "figure out" what was going on in that meeting. But I have not YET figured that out, even though more than a week has passed.

It must be confusing, sounds very confusing to me. :shock:

I don't think you should have to "level" about anything unless you want to.
