"Help find a cure for ignorance"
"There is no cure for being yourself" (from one of the excellent APD posters)
"Nothing about us without us"
"Celebrate neurodiversity" is a slogan that has been around for some time, and is a positive message that says positive things about conditions other than autism as well as autism.
Maybe we shouldn't decide on an APD 2006 theme prematurely, who knows what issues might come up in the course of a year?
Will 2006 be too early to confront the issue of prenatal screening testing?

i got some suggestions
A war on Autism is a war on autistics
When you hate autism, you spread hate for autistics
When you hate autism, you hate autistics
A war on Autism is a war on autistics

Tell that to an NT that doesn't understand our point of view yet and then see if they understand it's not spreading intolerance. What we may understand as something, they might not.

I don't see "pride in action" and "pride in deed" as the same thing. Pride in action means being proud while acting, and pride in deed means being proud of past accomplishments (at least that's how I read it).
