We did the interview with the journalist in the AFF chatroom, and then the magazine asked for a photgraph. They asked us to be photographed by John Angerson, who is a well known photographer. We agreed.
He took about 300 photos, black and white, colour, smiling, not smiling etc and we had no control over what they used.
I'm not really bothered if they are unflattering, but I do hope that the pictures don't give a morbid impression of what autistic people look like.

I love that that first pic, its a really good pose from you both, makes you look very focused. Sadly, the second one makes you both look like normal human beings - how very unflattering :shock:

W3bbo, we didnt know exactly when the interviewer would be in the room, he did speak to another member when he was there, aswell as me and Gareth, he came in randomly a few times, he was clear in telling people who he was though and what it was for.
I never thought of that, that people would respond in the magazine.
There might be some interesting points made.
Hi Seth, we have heard of autscape, a few members are going as far as I know. Good luck with it, we would have liked to come but had other commitments. Maybe in another year. :smile:
