CRASH-IT
Hi fellow AFF members. I'm working with this charity. We can provide free computers to autistics if they write in to the address below briefly explaining their condition and why a computer may help them. The machines we recycle are generally not state of the art (so no Doom3!), but they are generally perfectly adequate for general office duties and Internet surfing (PIIs and PIIIs mainly at the moment).

We are a National Lottery Community Fund project set up to help disabled people or those with medical conditions.
CRASH-IT IS A COMMUNITY PROJECT MANAGED BY THE LONGBRIDGE ADVICE AND RESOURCE CENTRE.

Our Aim is to:
* Provide high quality training in a flexible, supportive environment
* Address inequality and disadvantage faced by disabled people
* Provide free or low cost IT equipment to disadvantaged individuals and community groups
* Create training, employment and volunteering opportunities
* Reduce the need for landfill through recycling computers
