We make it very clear that we do not condone any action that is illegal, we believe in peaceful protests, raising awareness and making our points in a polite fashion.
There are no exceptions to this.
We are a group of peaceful activists, and hope to achieve our aims through the same methods as others groups such as Amnesty International.
These are our guidelines, we can't control what individuals choose to do at any event, but this is what would be preferable.
Holding/displaying appropriate signs and posters.
Handing out leaflets as above.
Talking, singing, but not aggressive shouting/swearing.
If the walkers at an event choose to shout and swear at us, shame on them, but we can be dignified and a calm presence.
It is perfectly legal to protest peacefully and express views, if walkers at an event swear and spit at people, they are in the wrong and you would have the right to complain to the police if you were threatened in any way.
It is a good idea to have a camera to take general photos.
