Yes of course I do, but I don't frequent there as much:

However, I frequent:

I see from your gallery and profile (on AFF) that you like the Lion King.  Have you ever thought of joining up on the Lion king fanart archive?

I am a member at TLKFAA Tongue I just rarely go there anymore, I don't draw much fanart, I need to get back into it. My name there is Black Mane (make sure you use the space, there is a BlackMane there too and that aint me X) ) and I've heard about you, i'm sure i've seen your gallery before

Yes, I've heard of you.  Never seen your gallery before though.  As to you hearing about me, I hope it's all good.

Links to my page and my DA club for all autistics are in my sig.  Smile
You may also notice my sig mentions I am the "official" AFF ambassador to DA....  We were planning some events for APD, but unfortunately all the other "activists" have stopped posting so I have no clue if it's still going to happen or not.  Sad  But if you want to design a poster for APD, please drop me a note!
Which "place" should I have my 12 year old set up for his art?  He now has a wacom and he could scan other stuff "in".  He does fanart and his own comic strip in the school newspaper and other stuff.  IS there a nice, active and somewhat easy "place" to post?
It depends on what your twelve year old does for fanart.  If he did Lion King Fanart, I'd recommend The Lion King Fan Art Archive.

Devianart is good but only if you monitor.

I do not recommend Sheezy art at all, for some reason that is where most of the problems surface.

My recommendation is that you research and view art sites together before you decide if it's a good place or not.

Star wars, indiana jones, Mario, nintendo, pokemon, calvin and hobbes, it changes.  Right now indiana jones.

How much monitoring and is it easy to post on deviant art?

There are moderators on Deviant art, I don't know if they are successful or not but I have never seen them.  I don't know if they are active or not.  Although they must be.

It is easy to sign up onto deviant art, they've changed to a free account so I recommend that.

Once you join there is a little button tab that says:'Submit Art'.

Luckily there is an FAQ:

http://help.deviantart.com

I hope that can answer some if not all your queries?
All I suggest is (if you decide that he can join Deviant art) just monitor everything once a week maybe.
Naturally.

I hope everything works out.

The photos and fanfiction (you'll have to have to have seen the cartoon Storm Hawks to get 'All Good Things Must Come to an End' though) are mine.

The art is all commissions drawn for me by other people and ATM all of it is from Storm Hawks.
* WARNING, when I was at Deviant Art, to look for a new skin for the XP GUI, I gotten redirected to a scamware-malware web page, with that web page telling me I'm infected and to install their fake anti-malware!  *

Demonique, you should be aware that posting art that wasn't drawn by you in your gallery is against the site's rules.  Not saying you can't/shouldn't do it if you want (that's your choice) but you should be aware that you might get your account shut down.  Sad

I've known a lot of people who got their accounts shut down for less, and I've had the occasional run-in with the site mods myself.  They don't have time to catch everything but they are still a**holes who will crack down on you for anything and never listen to explanations of any kind or offer any explanations for their behavior.

So you trusted some user on the site and clicked a link they posted.  DA is just a hosting site, they get spammers and trolls just like everyone else.  In fact they had a couple of really big ones recently where people's accounts were being hacked to linkspam.  It doesn't make the site worthless, just as risky as anywhere else online.
