Oh aspies can be controversial alright, but the phenomenon is like magnetic particles: on a small scale amongst themselves, they will form small opposing groups, but where a larger scale and a united opposition is present, they will all form one large group that equals the size of the other, and the entire group will share orientation and properties, as though composed entirely of one piece.

You're not going to get a whole lot of pro-cure sentiment on an anti-cure board. I am anti-cure, but sometimes my position feels tenuous when I read books by LFA people who want a cure. I often get the feeling then that I'm not sure what autism is exactly.

Wasted Talent by Krishna Narayanan, for one. I have read others, but can't remember titles right now.
I say that he is LFA because he communicates only thorugh fc, and for reasons apparent if you read the book.

i pretty sure in on of her books donna willaims said she wanted a cure. an as for the facileted commication thing the has been contreversey over if its real or not becuase in some cases a giude would put the autuistic peeson hand on the letters instead of them doing it on there own.

Krishna Narayanan uses FC and the foreword says that the editor, being skeptical, asked Krishna's parents to leave the room, and Krishna just typed much more slowly.
