The Infinite Mind public radio show recently did a two part special report on Asperger's syndrome, focusing mainly on the positive aspects of our condition. I think both programmes were excellent, covering everything from diagnosis, famous people with autistic traits, the emerging Asperger's culture and where science stands today regarding AS.

Among other things, they interview Simon Baron-Cohen and Michael Fitzgerald, two of the world's leading experts on autism and Asperger's Syndrome.

I know there was a link posted recently in the parents section to this show, but I thought that this deserved some extra attention:

Can someone turn those into mp3's or a wav or something that windows can play, please
RealPlayer has a free version, you can download it from:

http://www.real.com

Very easy to download and very easy to use, a mp3 file or wav file  would be HUGE in comparison to files in this format. I admit, for quite some time, I regarded RealPlayer to be some kind of computer virus Wink But I've changed my mind, especially after being able to listen to this radio show.
I was hoping to not have to download the free version because of all the spyware on it, it's alomost like downloading a backdoor Sad
Uncheck the boxes about the extra features and the "start center thingie" and you'll do just fine, most firewalls like Norton etc will tell you when programs like RealPlayer try to access the internet anyways. Don't just click on the "next" button Wink
I'll see what i can do. But no promises.

I too not liking both real and Apple media players! Hiss! Why can't they stick to a normal standerd.
Just finished listening to these two episodes of The Infinite Mind.

They were excellent.

I highly recommend them.
It was refreshing to hear our point of view from a professional journalist for once Smile
