The aspie members do a good job to stand the flack they get from other members...

After a member comments on autistic pride day they had this response -

Given the rest of the dribble that is posted in that thread by Equidem I'd say that the world has very little to fear from them.

oops! I am the one who mentioned Autistic Pride Day on there and it's a shame that it led to rather unpleasant responses to say the least. A number of the members on that forum seem to get fed up with the opening poster of that particular thread as she often posts about AS on that site and they treat her like a complete cripple.

I think you're right by saying the world has nothing to fear from such members...they seem to mock just about anything that's not 'normal', so I wouldn't take it too personally and good for those who stuck up for AS!

I suppose there's a time and a place for discussing AS and a television presentation site is not a good idea  :roll:

Well they seemed to go way too far complaining about simply making off topic comments.
The members with AS were very calm and reasonable comsidering some of the comments from the NT members.

Wow, that Equdiem or whatever guy is a total jackass.
