A while ago I had a computer/artsy, and one of our assignments was 'take a bunch of photos and mess with them in photoshop. Make it fit a theme.' After a bit of messing around, I settle upon this innovative approach. (oh: and the starfields in the background were made using a starfield generator add-on to photoshop. My school's version of photoshop on the ComTech computers was so tricked out I imagine each version cost more that one of our library computers.)
This interesting but not very innovative picture of the pipes (EVERYONE took at least one picture of the pipes in that class)

Becomes this. Wait, the garbage disappeared! Magic.
This picture of, um, more lights,
Becomes this. That engine fire was made purely with the clone-stamp brush tool.
There were 10 of these in total, I think. I have them on a disk somewhere, I should dig it up and put em here, and on deviantArt too.
