If I don't reply to messages it is because
a) I have far too many from really important people to be bothered with yours
; or
b) No-one sent me any.
(The latter is far more likely!)

If I don't reply to messages, it's because monkeys from outer space have intercepted the message in order to distract us from their imminent invasion.
Either that, or I haven't gotten around to replying...

If I don't reply to messages its because.... I usually dont reply to messages. Which a coworker has complained about. And relatives have complained about. You get the picture.

If I don't reply to messages, it's either because I'm busy, I need time to think about a response, or because I'm too stressed out (I avoid this forum when stressed!).

If I don't reply to messages, I'm too **** lazy *rolls onto left hand side as the right hand side was feeling a bit dead, scratches stomach, breaks wind*

If you can't read my messages it might be because they're so way off the beaten track that they're totally invisible.
Ocampo -- you don't do messages!!!?

I am awed and humbled by the quality of your invisiblness. I'm starting to fantasize about saying the proper thing to people in default text and what I REALLY think in invisible text.

If I don't reply to messages it's because I'm splitting up with my boyfriend of 9 years, I'm back in England with the clothes in my suitcase, £100 quid in my pocket, and very little else to show for it except a back catalogue of emotional scars, and time on my hands to wonder what I'm going to do with my life now.
Do you think asking for a semi pro camera was too much to ask as a parting present? He turned me down anyway so that was humiliating. This probably shouldn't be on this thread. Just saying - I don't feel much like talking right now.

Good luck, Alectrum. I've been thinking about you and the stuff you've been going through lately. I'd offer to help but there's bugger all I can do from the other side of the world.

I second that. I wish there were more I could do, too. Do you have anyone you trust that you could stay with for a while? I do hope you aren't totally homeless.
