Indeed, I often like Hard House, UK Hard House, hardcore, hardcore gabber... as long as it's fast. I'm more aligned towards the dance side of electronic music, as with a steady beat.

I recently found a couple of Industrial radio stations, which I'm quite liking.

I don't know what sub-genre this music fits into, but I like Massive Attack, Moby (only the Play album), Goldfrapp, Portishead and lamb. I could be wrong, but from what I gather they're all European artists.
 I'm quite a lover of Hardstyle,Goa/Psytrance,Hardcore/Tekno/Trancecore(not the parties though),Drum & Bass,Ambient like Ian Boddy and Max Corbacho, and some of stuff Trent Reznor(Nine Inch Nails)made, but mostly the songs that contained no vocals.
'Jungle', 'Trance'?? I feel old... Sad NO, Actually I Feel Young   --new things to explore! Yeah! As James Taylor says, 'The secret of life is enjoying the passage of time'. (Um, JT didn't even plug in but you can still appreciate what he said!)
I'm quite a big fan of EDM (Electronic Dance Music)
The various genres I enjoy (I consider EDM to be a metagenre) include Chilled Trance, Drum & Bass, Goa/Psytrance, Hardcore, Hard House, Hard Trance, Oldskool Trance and plain old Trance. I have 6 Days, 1h33m36s of music on my Hard Drive alone, this doesn't include the 50+ CDs I have.
Maybe I'm obsessed

I'm also experimenting with Metal.
yay so glad.people who love the same music as i do.And hallayula someone whoes heard of Gabba!thats one of my fav types!Does anyone else mix music?
Hello Badger,

I used to live in Glynarthen, near Newcastle Emlyn....nice part of the world.
Lived there for a few years.

Say hello to Wales for me.

Hi Donna, Gareth and I live in wales, I don't know if you've ever visited north wales.
lived in it?

if only you knew....

In nobody nowhere I wrote of Wales, but I said it was South.

life... its mysteries.

Yes, I know the north very well.

The film of Nobody Nowhere is set in my 25th-26th year and will be filmed in Wales in 2006.  We are choosing Aberdovey way.

anyway, some things must stay mysteries.

say hello to north wales for me.

Although I'd say most of what I really like is in the range of electronica (my name probably explains the particulars pretty well) I think I'm more or less just drawn into certain bands of emotion that I just can't find in most music unless it's the rare old industrial or alternative metal, mid 90's rap, etc.. I tend to really like either real epicly moody beats (has a real intense spiritual feel), the dark and intelligent stuff, or stuff that's dysphoric enough to feel like a 1980's antidrug commercial.
Right now I'm listening to the Simple Things album by Zero 7. It's a great album that's sort of like Air, but not as bland. A little trip-hoppish, poppish, with some jazz influence as well. Given my past history when I find albums I like, this'll probably be the only thing I listen to for a few months.

For the record, Moby is American and the others are English, Massive Attack and Portishead being from Bristol (spiritual home of trip-hop) in particular.
