This is the old "hedgehog" back again after many log-in problems caused by either technical difficulties (or possibly user incompetence/inability to memorise passwords).

Anyway, I know this one has been done before, but I wanted to revive "celebrating achievements", cos during my absence from the forum, my little girl (now nearly 7 yrs old) has been doing so well.

Her social skills have improved by leaps and bounds. She has recently been elected (by her classmates) onto the school council, has performed on stage (dancing and singing), won the school cake baking competition and got a certificate at sports day (extra nice cos she's got a physical disability, which makes most of the physical stuff difficult). We also had a great holiday, and did lots of cool stuff like pony riding etc. The great thing is not just that she's done all this, but she's really enjoyed doing it too.

She seems to have made some nice friends at school, gets invited to lots of parties (a mixed blessing for both of us lol Shy) and doesn't get any teasing about her physical disability or the aspie stuff (eg stimming). Now I know that's the way it should be, but isn't it nice when things go right for a change..............

I'm so proud of her!

Over to you guys, what good stuff are you celebrating?
Sorry guys the "boasting about children" thread wasn't up when I posted, or I'd have followed that one ...more user incompetence I guess.........
